I wrote this book because I felt like there are way too many financial “text books” out there. The average individual finds them tough to read unless it’s a substitute for sleeping pills. People feel like they are being talked down to or feel the author is condescending. I’m even a CFP® practitioner and I often feel that way myself reading that garbage. So, I wanted to write a book that simply shared entertaining but true stories from my own life with a financial parallel that just might help you in making your own retirement decisions. And I do hope you find this both enjoyable and enlightening. But if you find it neither, please give it to one of your smarter friends so that they can explain it to you and then you both can have a laugh.
